…we need to stop and consider why we call God GOD? If God is GOD should He not do signs and wonders that are mind blowing? Do things that we can’t possibly explain? If so shouldn’t we see more of this everyday? These last few years have been mind blowing to me as I’m learning about these truly glorious facets of God that only express themselves when a person is really searching. I feel like I’ve been blown away. All these years after a bit of Bible College and a lot of Bible study I feel like I’ve just scratched the surface. I think sometimes we have simplified the Bible enough to take the wonder right out of it.
I have been baptized with the Holy Spirit many times and when I am I have felt a warmth on my body. One instance I remember the lower portion of my back being warm. This instance I was not sure what had happened. God revealed that He had healed my hips.
Tuesday night of that following week we had a meeting before a service I served in for table leaders to ask the church counselor if we had any questions. The first question had to do with helping a table get past losing someone to death because of substance abuse. Others offered answers and the counselor did too. I felt the Holy Spirit wanted me to interject by mentioning our need to bring Him into this ministry. I told the Holy Spirit that He needed to speak thru me. I put my faith Him. Well when I opened my mouth I could literally feel the Spirit jumping in my chest. It was like He was jumping out of my chest. If you were sitting in front of me you would’ve seen Him patruding out of my chest. The power that came out of my mouth was unexplainable. It was beautiful like music. It was like God was breathing out of my mouth HIS words. I said, “We have no need to watch these people die. If we are filled w the Holy Spirit we have power; to caste demons out, raise the dead etc..”
Everyone in the room had their eyes fixated on me. The room was extra filled that night because a text had gone out to every leader that the counselor would be there to answer questions. They all were intently listening but I was afraid most of them missed what God saying through me. Except the counselor. I noticed he was watching and by the look on his face I sensed he saw something different. I don’t know because we never spoke afterwards but I had hoped. A guy approached me after and said he’d agreed with everything I’d said. We needed to be filled w the Holy Spirit to do that ministry.
A Saturday night service a week later I was given another opportunity to sing in the worship band at church. This was the second time I had actually had a microphone and ears to hear with. I went in prior to this feeling like I was missing the secret presence of God that I’d obtained at that Tuesday night meeting earlier in the week. And I really couldn’t figure out why. But I was prayed up before I went to practice. After practice I felt as if I had been snubbed by one or two people in the band. Whether or not I was or if it was just my inability I could feel I do not know. But I felt compelled to go by myself after practice and get on one knee and ask God, the Holy Spirit, for help.
We got back on stage for the worship service and I began to sing with the band. Really I didn’t feel prepared and I’d asked the Holy Spirit to help me worship. Well He did. Right in the middle of one of the songs the Pastor jumped out on stage and began to talk. The ear piece to hear everything the band was doing was in my better ear. It had been hard to get it in so I wasn’t taking it out. With my weaker ear I tried my hardest to listen to what the Pastor spoke. I’d felt like God told me to leave the ear piece in. I heard, ‘there was a girl who made some bad choices… one day she was driving in a car and came to an intersection where she couldn’t see. She went and a semi hit her car and pushed the car so far (This was when I covered my face turned it to the side and started weeping). This girl was injured. She couldn’t walk, or talk. She had to relearn everything. And he pointed to me. Well now here she is singing.’ Thats a shortened version of what he said but about only what I heard.
The applause came and the only thing I thought to do was lift my arm up and point up. To make it clear that ALL GLORY AND PRAISE BE TO GOD. That was when God said in my spirit keep doing this for ME.
I can’t understand the Holy Spirit. He is SUPERNATURAL in His workings . But by faith I can accept what I do understand. That is this: I receive POWER by faith. Asking for help that is beyond me. I now have dwelling in me a SUPERNATURAL power that is beyond my comprehension. I have to receive it by faith.
I am waiting. God is not through with my story. I am waiting for HIM to do something through me that is only explained by HIS POWER. That’s the answer. I can’t understand but I have to just believe so that I can receive. Be available.
I had a conversation with my grandpa the day I wrote this blog. At the end of our call he said it was his belief that being baptized in the Holy Spirit meant our understanding of God is opened. We see Him as He is. Impossible to understand. Beyond our infinite minds comprehension level. And It’s our FAITH that fuels HIM to do the impossible. I have seen Him come through in my life so many times and it’s only when I just put my faith in HIM.
We have prayed over our cars. We have prayed over Mike’s foot. We have prayed about lost jobs. I prayed and prayed and prayed to write my book. It wasn’t me. I cannot boast. Things that are out of our control. Just putting our faith in God has done those impossible things.
Learn about it. Put out your faith and see what happens. Deeper revelation of WHO GOD IS and what HE wants to reveal to those who are searching.
I spent a few hours at my moms house the day before I wrote this. Mike dropped me off so he could meet with a friend. It was snowy out so he had the truck to use. I’d prayed that God would help me to speak. That afternoon was one of the sweetest days of conversation I had ever had with mom and Keith. I shared with them my experience since being baptized in the Holy Spirit again and the heart revelation that God gave me. As I spoke I could feel it was the power of the Holy Spirit speaking though me. My mom and Keith also said they sensed that as well. I think Keith received what I said. After I finished sharing my revelation Keith spoke up and said well I think you could write another book on Just what you shared.
The next night Mike and I had dinner out. I shared with him about the Holy Spirit revelation given to me. After I finished he also said I could write a second book on what I’d just shared with him. I certainly don’t know but God is leading me. That night I prayed for Mike to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Twice. I felt led to when we got upstairs to our bedroom to pray again. I felt it was a more sincere prayer.
Last night I began thinking that maybe this revelation is something I need to pass onto our pastor. Figured I’d pray and wait.
This morning I was thinking this again. This morning talking to Mike on the phone he said he read Mark 13 and says we need to read it together.
Verse 11 says don’t worry about what you’ll say . Just go. It struck me as I read aloud to Mike. When I got to the end of the passage we talked about it and I spoke of another verse that spoke to me. Not mentioning the one about v11. I prayed silently that if this was Him speaking that He would tell me again. As soon as I was done silently praying that Mike spoke up and said what about verse 11? I’m like, ok God. Ok . Man.
So at 6:40 am Sunday morning I texted my pastor about setting a meeting up. He says no problem he’ll let his assistant know today to arrange it.
God is gonna speak for me, through me and I hope HE chooses to make something happen in our pastor. I pray his heart has been primed by the conversation he’s had with my sister Sarah.

I have been thinking randomly about in my past doing Bible school through Moody Bible Institute. And God is so good to help me remember things from that at the right time. God started a great work in me prior to that schooling through the Experiencing God Bible study but revelation knowledge came to me when I learned about John 1:1. Jesus is the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us. That changed my whole life. That taught me that what I was reading in the Bible was more than just words on a page. It is God Himself that is spoken into existence; into my circumstances when spoken outloud in faith. Believer meditate upon that. Turn your affection and attention to the Word in your life and see the storm dissipate.
Not matter what you may have done in your past it doesn’t disqualify you from a better future.
You know for many years I lived with the thought internally that what I dealt with externally was caused from a series of bad decisions I made years ago and there was nothing I could do to change the effects of that.
BUT GOD
God is not a liar. When He said that the curse of my sin and wrongdoing and also the sickness caused by it was brought upon Himself, He meant it; when it was written and it is still applicable today (Gal 3:13, Is 53). I don’t have to live under anything.
When God gets a hold of my heart and renews my mind my whole being is changed. I live under the blessing of Abraham as a child of God Most High through my faith (Gal 3:14).
Christ paid the debt and when He said, “It is finished” that’s what He meant (John 19:30). Christ satisfied God’s justice by dying for all to pay for the sins of the elect. These sins can never be punished again since that would violate God’s justice. Sins can only be punished once, either by a substitute or by yourself (blueletterbible.org).
You and I need to live as if that was true so we can be all God created us to be. This applies to Every PERSON who chooses to accept this. It’s free for all.
The last two years or so have been challenging for us as a family. Although this is true there are very few people in my life that I trust with any details about it so that I’m not giving the enemy more power in my life. I can tell you though the things we’ve been through even though they were tough for us it taught us both more about the Authority of God in us and how to function in it than any other times in our entire lives.
I personally have learned so much about the power of my words. That’s not to say I don’t make mistakes in conversation but I really try to be more aware of what I am saying and instead of expressing things negatively I either stay quiet or reword things in a positive aspect so as to not bring more spiritual warfare on myself than I ought to.
The power of life and death are in the tongue and those who love it will eat its fruit.
I have really been learning for many years now to incorporate speaking forth God’s Word into my life by faith and even more especially while in dire circumstances. I and my husband have seen God do the impossible over and over again in my body and his body; physically, emotionally and spiritually. Not just changing our circumstances but changing us and making both my husband and I stronger in our faith together, teaching us important lessons to be passed along to others.
God’s Word says He takes all things and turns them around for our good and His glory. It can be amazing to look back and reflect at what has happened but see the glory of God in it. What was meant for our harm turned out for our benefit and strengthening.
We just have to know and expect that God’s Word has the power to project that glory into our lives. Sometimes it’s hanging on in faith while going through circumstances to see our faith move those mountains.
Just a word of encouragement keep your faith. God is FAITHFUL and you will make it through if you believe that in faith. Speaking forth the Word is your weapon of warfare to use and reaching to grow in your understanding. The Bible says in Proverbs that we are to cry out for understanding and wisdom. That’s no small task. That requires time and energy pursuing God and expecting Him to fulfill His Word. Otherwise it’s just religious. What’s the purpose of pursuing God if not for His amazing grace?
There is now no condemnation for Those who are in Christ Jesus.
No matter where you are or where you’ve been as long as you’re still breathing there’s time to see change in your life for the positive. Don’t settle to live in circumstances that limit your abilities. Push through those hard times with an attitude that says you’re not giving up. Do the impossible.
Fix your eyes on Jesus.
Your life is more than being about you. God has good plans for you to project Him to a lost and dying world.
Go after the Lord with all your heart. As if nothing else will change your circumstances except Him and see what happens.
For some reason I have the need to share this this morning. Someone needs this who understands Spiritual Warfare. I got this prayer from my Grandparents many years ago and since then prayed in nearly everyday outloud in faith. Not to say I haven’t gone through things but they could have been so much worse had I not been prepared Spiritually.

Believers you can’t be fully dependent on what you’re learning at church or how you’re serving to be the means you measure your relationship with God. If you only go as far as what the pastor, or your teachers share you’ll never get to deeper places with God. You have to go after God. Go after teachings that are beyond what you know. So you can grow and be that conquerer through Christ who gives you strength. Keep looking and yearning and grasping for MORE bc THERE IS MORE
How do you perceive your life? Are you a believer in Christ who always sees through natural lenses and views everything coming your way from a physical force and purpose or do u see through the spiritual lenses that helps you to determine every step you take as ordered by the Lord? (Ps 37:23) How do these two outlooks differ and how do they plan your day? Let’s consider how your life could change in a positive way coming from the viewpoint from the latter side.
Let’s consider a circumstance that comes our way and is not convenient for us. Do we complain and murmur until this passes or do we look for the tidbits of God and His purposes, even during those times? If we look from a positive perspective then we are going to be more at peace, and will find fulfillment in everything we do everyday. Who knows how God could direct your steps right into someone’s life that can propel you into greater depths with Him and the fulfillment of that greater call He has for you? He did this with Mary in Luke 1 sending an angel to her to declare a much higher calling and purpose with the plans to bring Jesus into this world using her. She was a virgin who probably didn’t understand in complete what or how God was going to fulfill His plan for her. She wasn’t going to be at ease during these life circumstances. Actually it brought trials and tribulations and heartache and pain her way. First consider her and her fiance and how they couldn’t be united physically until way after they were married and saw the birth of Jesus. So for at least the first nine months of their marriage they remained separate. Once they were married they were told to leave the country they were in and head for a different place. But instead of complaining she believed God and His plan for her. Instead of arguing she just followed the Spirit leading her and brought from her womb the Savior of the world Who was perfectly fit for a King.
Thank God that He only holds us accountable for what we know. He is gracious as He leads us and teaches us. I really believe based on my own experiences with Him that as long as we’re searching for Him that He reveals more understanding of Him and His ways to us.
Today I’m reading about prayer and the many ways we can do this so that God hears and answers our prayers. As I reflect back on years I’ve spent in my prayer closet with the Lord I can see this. I’ve kept prayer journals full of requests and God has never turned me away. I would keep lists and keep going back to God every morning about these things until I saw answers or situations change.
Here I am all these years later trying to enter into a new kind of intercession for me. I have been pressing in but I need to be more consistent about this type of praying. And doing it with faith that God is hearing me.
“Likewise the Spirit also helped our infirmities: for we know what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” (Romans 8:26)
Now I have been praying the Word of God for years and seen breakthrough in many different areas in my life and also those I have interceded for. It wasn’t even until years later that I understood just what I was doing. I did it all in faith and have seen God do the impossible by praying His Word; taking time to spend with Him in this (Eph 1:17-19, Eph 3:14-19, Col 1:9-14).
I want to challenge you to start your day with God. Put your phone down and just spend time with God in prayer and the Bible.
