The Heart of the Gospel

God is HOLY. HE IS HOLY. God is so worthy. God is so gracious. If you’re not aware of the goodness of God in your life something is missing. When you ignore the promptings of the Holy Spirit you can miss something so fulfilling. God’s grace is sufficient for this day.

I was so blessed to be able to attend a freedom service at an old church recently. After months of having dreams of attending this service I finally took a step of faith to go. I relied fully on God’s grace, interceding in a prayer of agreement with my husband in faith, before I left my house.

I sensed as soon as the service started something missing in the worship. The songs were good ones I didn’t know that had great words and messages but I was distracted by the lights flashing on the stage. Like there was an attempt to mimic a sense of God’s Presence but was coming from the flesh not the Spirit. I don’t say that to condemn anyone or state that from a critical spirit just truth in love. The Holy Spirit wasn’t given full permission or freedom to enter as He wanted to. That anointing I missed greatly. In faith, after service I attended one of the classes that met.

I went in to the class with the intention of being the last one to introduce myself and share. Once it started there was a lack of words from other women and the prompting of the Holy Spirit led me to open my mouth and what came out was music from my spirit; out of my belly flowed rivers of living water (John 7:38 ). I sensed the Presence of God coming forth from my mouth and it was so sweet. I know this particular ministry for people dealing with bondage, wherever God opens doors, is my calling.

It’s amazing what happens when we pray in faith the will of God. The answer comes so soon. God is teaching me more and more how to love like He does and giving me the grace to pass along truths from His Word to those who are struggling. These are prayers I’ve prayed to do.

Encouraging those women to open God’s Word and take it in, inviting the Holy Spirit to enlighten them, was the key. I did that with words of grace. I challenged them to open the Word after listening to them express their weaknesses and downfalls. I began to speak about the Word and how necessary it is for our upbuilding and success, using God’s Word in every word I spoke. Many received these words; rhema words I believe that were straight from God using the logos.

I was reminded of truths from Romans 10:9-10 that are principles on how to use God’s Word to receive salvation, which is sozo: deliverance, protection, healing, to be saved, to be made well and whole. This is available to any person that is willing to go after Him with all their heart; confess with their mouths His Word, believe it in their hearts unto salvation.

I’ve heard it taught that our mouths are like the rudder on a boat that steers our lives in whatever direction we speak (James 3). God’s Word is like medicine to our entire bodies (Pro 4:22). Healing for our nerves and sinews, and marrow and moistening to our bones (Pro 3:7-8). It renews our thoughts to become agreeable to His will (Rom 12:1, Pro 16:3).

Our saving grace comes from the blood (Rev 12:11). The DEBT WAS PAID IN FULL. Not all believers understand this truth. That means we don’t have to live under anything; not the consequences of our sin, sickness or disease. If we speak up using our blood bought authority in Christ, expecting to receive the grace sufficient for each day, through confessing the Word, we can walk out of anything to be more than conquerors through Christ.

Be encouraged friend. Start speaking the Word of truth in faith over you and your circumstances and watch the enemy flee. Pursue God more than anyone or anything else and watch God move mountains in your life. It’s His will to do so.

The light in the eyes [of him whose heart is joyful] rejoices the hearts of others…(Pro 15:30)
