I remember once I understood the basics of supernatural healing enough to cast off of myself a seizure, my mindset changed and it continues to change for the better. I now live expecting good and not evil in my life and experiencing that. I have been confidently living as more than a conqueror through Christ who gives me strength.

Normally in that last situation of an oncoming seizure I would experience what they call an “aura” before I went into it. I dealt with this for many, many years. I would brace myself until I had it and then sleep afterwards. I got revelation knowledge of God’s gracious healing power flowing in my body when confessed my faith in Him and His Word (Rom 10:8-10). I experienced salvation fuller and more complete then I’d known of as of yet. Things started changing dramatically for me. I spoke one of the only Words from the Bible that I was clinging to at that time “Submit myself to God. Resist the devil and he will flee” (James 4:7) and then I commanded that seizures would no longer come near me. I wasn’t specific in stating this for both day and night. I assumed that it would stand that way. And so for a time I only experienced them at night. Once I got more revelation knowledge of Christ’s salvation and all that it entails I spoke forth in detail what was going to happen in Jesus’ name, commanding them to stop day and night and never come back and they stopped completely.

Even in that last occurrence before the seizure itself started I decreed God’s Word in faith, it stopped as it was manifesting and it never occurred. I had not experienced power like that EVER in my life. I had no idea I could stop a seizure before it started.

Once I understood the power of my words I grew so hungry to understand more in depth about God’s healing power manifesting itself in my life, for myself and others benefit too. I saw the intentions of the enemy and what ARE his lies that I believed and I resisted them in Christ’s strength. I did not have to live in a state of sickness because of sin. The curse was broken and the debt was paid in full (Gal 3:13, John 19:30). I did not stay the same afterwards. I planted myself among great healing teachers and preachers to glean from them and grow stronger in my faith walk.

I just want to encourage you that if you remain living under anything opposing you, take God’s Word literally. Speak it and place your faith in Him to conquer what you can’t. Become strong in Christ and His power. It’s like going to the spiritual gym. It takes time. DO IT! Because all things ARE possible with Him.

You ARE God’s masterpiece. Created in Christ Jesus to do the good things He planned for you long ago (Eph 2:10).
